A STEUBEN COUNTY WOMAN IS FACING MORE THAN A HALF-DOZEN CHARGES, INCLUDING IDENTITY THEFT, FOLLOWING LARCENY INVESTIGATIONS IN GENESEO AND DANSVILLE, ACCORDING TO STATE POLICE. TWENTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD DALELYNN STALBIRD OF CAMPBELL, WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN GENESEO WITH CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY, FOR POSSESSING ANOTHER’S PERSONS CREDIT CARD, AND TWO COUNTS OF LARCENY AND IDENTITY THEFT FOR USING ANOTHER PERSON IDENTITY TO OBTAIN GOODS. SHE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH FOUR OTHER COUNTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE DANSVILLE LARCENY INVESTIGATION. THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING.

SIXTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD DONALD FRISBY OF LE ROY IS FACING A FELONY SEX ABUSE CHARGE AFTER AN INCIDENT LAST MONTH IN THE VILLAGE, LE ROY POLICE SAID. FRISBY SUBJECTED A FEMALE TO SEXUAL CONTACT BY FORCIBLE COMPULSION, POLICE SAID. HE WAS CHARGED WITH FIRST-DEGREE SEXUAL ABUSE. HE WAS ARRAIGNED AND RELEASED UNDER SUPERVISION OF THE GENESEE JUSTICE PROGRAM.

NATE MCMURRAY IS AGAIN RUNNING FOR THE CONGRESSIONAL SEAT HELD BY REPUBLICAN CHRIS COLLINS. MURRAY, A DEMOCRAT, AND FORMER GRAND ISLAND TOWN SUPERVISOR CAME ABOUT 1,400 VOTES SHY OF UPSETTING THE EMBATTLED COLLINS FOR NEW YORK’S 27TH DISTRICT SEAT IN 2018. THE 27TH DISTRICT COVERS ALL OF GENESEE, LIVINGSTON, ORLEANS AND WYOMING COUNTIES AND PARTS OF ERIE, ONTARIO, MONROE AND NIAGARA COUNTIES.
ACCORDING TO A POST ON HIS TWITTER PAGE, MCMURRAY SAYS THAT HE WAS “STRUGGLING” TO DECIDE WHETHER TO COMMIT TO THE RACE AND CONSIDERED OTHER OPTIONS, BUT ULTIMATELY CHOSE THE “PATH OF MOST RESISTANCE” TO AGAIN RUN FOR THE SEAT.
