A STEUBEN COUNTY MAN WAS ARRESTED BY LIVINGSTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP AND INVESTIGATION ON INTERSTATE 390. OSMIN PROCEED TO DISCARD A HYPODERMIC NEEDLE AND SUSPECTED NARCOTICS ON THE FLOOR OF THE SHERIFF’S VEHICLE.  TESTS DETERMINED THE NARCOTICS WAS THE DEADLY DRUG (FEN TEN ALL).  OSMIN WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY JAIL AND BOOKING BEFORE HIS ARRAIGNMENT IN FRONT OF NORTH DANSVILLE JUSTICE DAVID WERTH. BOND WAS SET BUT IT’S STILL UNKNOWN IF OSMIN IS STILL IN CUSTODY.

IN ANOTHER DURG ARREST ADAM M. STETZEL, 21, OF HOLLEY (HOLLY) WAS STOPPED EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. ON MAPLE BEACH ROAD FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION, LIVINGSTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES SAID. DEPUTIES ALLEGEDLY NOTICED A MARIJUANA ODOR EMANATING FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. STETZEL WAS WITH A 16-YEAR-OLD FEMALE PASSENGER AND IT WAS DETERMINED HE POSSESSED THE MARIJUANA AND PROVIDED IT TO THE SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD FEMALE.  IT WAS ALSO DETERMINED THAT HE BEGAN A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD FEMALE.  STETZEL WAS REMANDED TO THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY JAIL IN LIEU OF A ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND

A TEAM OF COMMUNITY LEADERS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS FROM LIVINGSTON COUNTY HAVE BEEN BUSY PLANNING AND REHEARSING THE COUNTY’S UPCOMING PRESENTATION FOR THE ALL AMERICA CITY AWARD GIVEN BY THE NATIONAL CIVIC LEAGUE. LIVINGSTON COUNTY’S 10-MEMBER TEAM WILL PRESENT TO A JURY OF NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED GROUP OF CIVIC LEADERS AT THE AMERICAN CITY AND CONFERENCE IN DENVER, COLORADO THE THIRD WEEK OF JUNE.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY IS THE ONLY FINALIST FROM NEW YORK STATE.
