Cal-Mum 15 Keshequa O
Keshequa first year softball skipper Bill Mann found out why coaches have those “gray hairs”. On Wednesday he would wind up going with 3 of his starters out of the line-up. Mann noted, “that puts a monkey wrench into things for us, & caused us to play a lot of players out of position, let alone having to bring up some help from the junior varsity level too.”
It started very quickly as Cal-Mum scored 11 runs over the first 2 innings of play to set the tone for the rest of the day as the Red Raiders finished what they started by scratching away one here & one there en route to the 15-0 shutout. The Indians were limited to just 2 hits on the day as Katheryn Gelser roped a double, Ashley Gillen added a hit as well for the orange & black. Keshequa visits Wayland-COhocton on Friday (Apr. 29) in hopes that everybody is back & healthy.
