Perry 46 Keshequa 32

The “Bee Hive” was buzzing on Friday night ( Jan. 29) when the Perry girls took to the floor against Keshequa in high school basketball action. The blue & gold got off to a flying start as they raised a 10 point lead over the visiting Indians after the first 8 minutes of play. The Yellowjackets took a 19-9 lead into the 2nd period where it seemed like both teams “turned the switch off” offensively. Only 7 points were scored in the entire quarter as Perry took a 9 point advantage in at the half. The blue & gold would manage to edge Keshequa in each of the final 2 stanzas leading to a 46-32 triumph.

Perry would place a trio of girls in the double-digits column as Rachel Evans & Alyssa Pascoe would each score 15, while Chelsea Pascoe netted 13 in the win. Karly Zanghi added 3 for the Yellowjackets. Keshequa (7-10) saw Cameryn Bugman score 13, Kathryn Gelser & Madison Ewing scored 6 each…Payton Powers had 3…as Hayley Smith & Lacey Hillier each scored 2.
