Long Night in Livonia for Mustangs

Livonia 77 Dansville 29

What seemed to be simply a “long night” in Livonia turned into a “long…long….” night for the Dansville boys basketball team. On Tuesday (Dec. 15) night the homestanding Bulldogs were coming off of a loss against Division One rival Hornell. Sadly enough for the Mustangs, they would be the ones to “bear the brunt” of Livonia’s frustrations as the orange & blue returned home seeking to get back on the winning track. And did they ever??? Livonia raced out to a lead of 26-4 after one period of play, 44-10 at the half & 66-18 after 3 quarters. The Bulldogs would bury Dansville to a final tune of 77-29.

Livonia was led by Jon Monkern’s 23 points, CJ Richardson added 13, Maddux Minton 12, Derek Demartinis 11, Christian Dulaney 9, Rick Allen 5, & Reid Vanscoter 4. Dansville saw Derek Wampole net 17 with 5 boards…Troy Latimer 4 points & 3 rebounds…Austin Milliman 4 points & one rebound…Tom Graves 2 points & 4 boards & Forrest Edmond 2 points & one rebound. The road doesn’t get any easier for Dansville as they visit Avon on Friday (Dec. 18) night.
