Early Run Pushes Perry Past Keshequa in Boys Hoop

Perry 56 Keshequa 34

The Yellowjackets came out “buzzing” at “the Hive” on Friday night (Dec. 18) as Perry surged to a comfortable lead in the first half in securing a 56-34 triumph over visiting Keshequa in boys basketball action. Coach Phil Wyant’s club kept the perpetual motion offense moving as the yellow & blue stung the Indians with a first half run of 33-11 to set the stage for the win. Strangely enough, both teams played even-Steven basketball in the 2nd half, so that first half surge was indeed the key for the Yellowjackets in their win at home.
