South Seneca Closes Out Keshequa Girls !

# 3 South Seneca 3 # 6 Keshequa 2

A slow but steady progression was building & as it did, the Keshequa girls soccer team became more cohesive, & the chemistry started to build. The Indians started to put more wins on the board & there were a number of shutouts recorded defensively for Keshequa. The Indians had made their way back, making some noise very subtly. On Friday (Oct. 23) reality was revisited by the Indians as the 3rd Seeded South Seneca Falcons would score twice in the first half & only once in 2nd half, but that would be enough as they would edge the orange & black by a 3-2 final bringing Keshequa’s season to a screeching halt.

South Seneca improved to 17-1 as keeper Morgan McGonigal had 7 saves. Kelsey Shaultis, scored once, & Emily Dey twice for the Falcons. Maddie Ewing scored for the Indians & Payton Powers had 8 saves in the game as the Indians finish at 9-7-2.
