Keshequa Girls Grab 1-0 Win From Pavilion

Keshequa 1 Pavilion 0

The Keshequa girls ventured to the “Purple Palace” in Pavilion on Wednesday night (Oct. 7) for girls soccer action. In a tightly played contest where both teams preach “defense”….that was the extent of it. The game was scoreless at the end of the first 40 minutes….then in the 2nd half the visiting Indians got a break when Lacy Craft found Cameryn Bugman at the 20 minute mark, & she buried the shot, which would make all the difference in the game as it was the lone score of the contest. Keshequa(6-5-2) would out shoot their hosts on the night as Payton Powers recorded the shutout with 9 saves. Pavilion (1-12) visits Perry on Friday (Oct. 9) night at 6:30pm, while Keshequa will host Warsaw at Kiwanis Park on Saturday night (Oct. 10) at 6:30pm.
