Dansville 7 Caledonia-Mumford 0
On a damp, dismal, rainy Saturday (Oct. 3), the Dansville Mustang boys soccer team did some of its best work….yes, with conditions they way they were…they did “get down & dirty”! Coach Steve French’s team piled up 5 first half goals at “the Corral” en route to a 7-0 rout of the Red Raiders from Caledonia-Mumford. Cody Dudek got things started when he took a pass from Phil Blum to convert what would be viewed as the “game winner’ for the Mustangs. Dansville didn’t stop there as Phil Blum would score unassisted to double the Mustangs pleasure.Vito Blanco took a que from his teammate *& also scored unassisted. Nick Vogler got into the picture by assisting on Vito Blanco’s second score of the half, & then Vogler turned around & scored unassisted making it 5-0 at the intermission. Dansville saw Cody Dudek assist on a second Nick Vogler score in the 2nd half, & then Alec Entwistle assisted on a Michael Adams goal late for the 7-0 final as Ryan Conklin posted the shutout in goal for Dansville. David Morrison was in the net for Cal-Mum.
Dansville ( 5-6) heads off to Shalen’s Stadium in Rochester to take on U. Prep on Monday in the make-up of a game that was postponed last week. Cal-Mum (0-10-1) visits Letchworth on Tuesday (Oct. 6) at 6:30pm.
