The Wayland Jr. Eagles “flag” teams took to the gridiron at Victory Park on Sunday in a tough match-up against Geneseo. Coach Josh Towner stated, “it was a great game & the guys played hard.” The highlights….for the maroon team….Matthew Harvey had 5 yards passing…Cole Johnson had a tackle…Garrett Johnson had 20 yards on the ground & 4 tackles…Ashton Williams ran for 10 yards & had a pair of tackles…Kameren Lantz rushed for 30 yards & had one tackle…Noah Ott had 20 yards & one tackle…and Skylar Sabins picked up 20 yards rushing & had 5 tackles. For the yellow team…Raiden Dwight ran for 5 yards, & had 2 pass deflections…Jacob Ladd had 1 tackle….Ethan Smih ran for 111 yards with 2 tackles & a pass deflection….Collin VanHorn had 2 yards passing, 2 tackles & a pass deflection…..Cole Hanggi had 3 yards in the passing department, ran for 30 yards & had 4 tackles.

The Junior Eagles visit Avon this Sunday (Oct. 4).
