Three suspects are in custody after a shooting in Bath Monday night at a boarding house that led to a chase through Livingston county.
A man was shot in the head and chest and his three attackers took off in a car. Officers spotted the car early Tuesday in Lima, it crashed into a fire hydrant, and the three men jumped out and ran off.
Two of the men were caught in a cornfield after they were spotted by a farmer.
The third suspect, was caught by Sheriff Thomas Doughtery and a state police officer when they saw the guy riding a bike.
The man who was shot is critical — and investigators are still trying to sort out what happened and why. But they say the boarding house is known for drug dealing.
