The social media site Reddit is being credited with reuniting a woman with her lost dog. On Sunday, a user named P1percubposted a photo of her missing pit bull-lab mix Jack, explaining to a Houston forum that the dog had been hit by a truck and then ran off and she’d been “looking for him non-stop” ever since.
More than 40,000 people viewed the post, with many offering support. And it wasn’t long before P1percub got some good news. She explained that a woman on one of the lists “had an extra 15 mins to kill before she picked up her daughter from school” so she drove to the area where Jack had been lost and spotted him.
P1percub quickly ran to where the woman was keeping an eye on Jack and the dog instantly ran to her. “OMG. There just aren’t words,” wrote P1percub, along with a selfie of her and Jack. “I’m just so unbelievably happy.
The vet says he’s totally fine, just some scrapes and bruises. …I feel like I owe the world (and Reddit) a whole sh*t load of karma right now. :)”
