WIC Program That Feeds Moms And Babies Not Affected By Shutdown

A little good news connected with the government shutdown. The WIC program in new york state will not be running out of money. The program uses federal money to provide food for pregnant women and their kids. In our area, nearly 5,000 people are served each month by the program. The director of the Finger Lakes WIC says the program will continue for now.
