Improvements needed at York Central School

The York Central School may be embarking on a five million dollar project to do some much needed improvements. A public meeting is being held Monday night and residents will be able to vote on the project September 24th. Superintendent Dr Daniel Murray says they need to replace more than 60,000 sq feet of leaky roofing and replace doors and windows with more energy efficient models. The state would pay for about 80% of it, the rest would come through property tax assessments.
