Avon Town Official Shown The Door For Lack Of Training

The town of Avon’s long time Code Enforcement officer was abruptly fired.

Tony Capello was let go because he did not have all of his required training completed in order to be certified as an enforcement officer. Training or not, he had the job for 10 years and he was shocked that he was fired. There’s some talk that he can be re-hired when he gets his training done. In the meantime, Capello is still the code officer for the Village of Avon.
