Unemployment In NY Looking Better

Prospects improving for finding a job. Unemployment in New York last month was the lowest it’s been in four years.

It fell to 7.5%. That is now slightly better than the national average. Alot of the new jobs in the state are government jobs. The number of jobs created by private business actually fell by 7,000 last month. But, in the last 3 years, businesss have hired about 300 thousand people in the state.
