Yates County Sheriff’s officials say Kimberly Margeson, 54, put Oxycodone pills in her mouth, then brought them into the Yates County Jail when she visited her son who’s an inmate William Partridge.

Officials say Margeson, of Penn Yan, then passed the pills to her son when she kissed him.

She’s charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Promoting Prison Contraband. She is being held on $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond.

The son will be arraigned on Promoting Prison Contraband charges next week.
