The Livingston County Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting in Geneseo recently. The organization honored outgoing Chairman Bill Bacon, of Dansville, as they welcomed incoming Chairman Jon Quinlan, owner of Quinlan’s Pharmacy and Medical Supply. Member Benefits Specialist and Director of Financial Administration Deborah Cisco was honored for her 25 years of service.
Quinlan applauded Cisco’s service, saying her passion for not only her job, but her customers. She testified in Albany before a healthcare panel on the need to allow chambers the ability to offer a full menu of affordable health insurance plans.
Among many accomplishments during Bacon’s term, he was able to form a collaboration with the Livingston County Development Corporation and the Chamber’s Tourism and Marketing Department to administer a very successful buy local campaign throughout Livingston County.
It was also announced that Tourism Director Lisa Burns’ title has changed. Her new title, Vice President of the Office of Tourism and Marketing
