Two men are facing conservation law charges in connection with a Nov. 17 hunting-related incident in the Wyoming County Town of Gainesville

Thomas J. Miller, 50, of Alden was charged Sunday with improper loaning of a buck deer carcass tag, state troopers and Department of Environmental Conservation police said.

Judson P. Bevier, 54, of Kenmore was charged with illegal taking of a deer during closed hours, accepting another person’s buck deer tag, and false completion of a deer tag.

Both men are to appear in Town Court at a later date.
