We reported last week, James Tavolina of Rochester went to the Monroe County Jail after being charged with setting a home on fire as a result of a domestic dispute. Two children were locked inside.

On Monday morning, jail deputies found the 37 year old hanging by a sheet inside his cell in a suicide attempt. He was cut down, given CPR and transported to Strong Memorial where he is now listed in critical condition.
