Livingston County Law Enforcement honored

Two  officers from Livingston County have been honored for their efforts to stop drunk driving.

Deputy Michael Wade of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Officer John Jordan of the Avon Police Department received their awards in Schenectady this week.

A total of 22 law enforcement officers from across the state were honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving during the ceremony. The event is to recognize officers across the state who have excelled in enforcement and education efforts to reduce drinking and driving.

The annual statewide Stop DWI campaign kicked off yesterday.
