A Wayland woman had to be extricated from the vehicle she was driving after it overturned on Route 245 in Naples.

18 year old Presti Taylor was taken to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua with an injured shoulder and wrist.

Deputies say Taylor hit a patch of black ice of the Ford Explorer and spun off the road while trying to negotiate a sharp curve. The SUV then struck an embankment and landed on its roof trapping her inside.

Taylor, who was wearing her seatbelt, was extricated from the vehicle by Naples volunteer firefighters.
