A meeting to decide who will run on the Republican ticket for District Attorney in Livingston County has been postponed.
That meeting was scheduled for 7:30 last night for the Livingston County Republican Committee to vote on their choice for the GOP candidate after the remaining ballot was opened yesterday in favor of Eric Scheiner making the race, once again, a tie. The next course of action was for the republican committee to vote. According to the Livingston County GOP Chairman, Steve Sessler has obtained a restraining order asking to impound the ballots and recount the absentee votes.
A hearing has been set for 11:00AM Wednesday before State Supreme Court Justice John Ark to hear the request.
