The Livingston County Republican Committee has broken a tie between the two candidates who sought the GOP nod for Livingston County District Attorney.
The committee chose Eric Schiener over Steve Sessler during a meeting Thursday night.
The primary was three weeks ago on September 13th. After appearing twice in front of a judge, the race remained deadlocked.
Sessler remains in the race as the Conservative Party candidate.
The Democratic candidate is Greg McCaffrey.
