Healthy pumpkin crop this year

With Halloween in just 21 days it looks like we will be able to choose that very special jack-o-lantern this year or to make that special Thanksgiving pie… thanks to this year’s  healthy pumpkin crop.

While many crops withered after a late spring frost and a dry summer, pumpkins have thrived unlike last year when heavy floods hurt the crops in many parts of the state.
